I was a family law barrister, mediator and Deputy District Judge for 25 years before I retrained as a Psychotherapist. For many years I have dealt with thousands of divorcing men and women in both their frustrating and costly journey through the law courts and then later to make sense of it all, in my consulting room.
I left the Bar in 2007 to set up DSG and have run many support groups. In 2018, Short Books published Breaking Upwards, How to Manage the emotional impact of separation which I wrote based on all the groups I have run.
